[...] Add-Art: Add-Art takes ad-blocking software one step further. After removing all the advertisements from a Web page, Add-Art replaces them with a spattering of images from an up-and-coming artist, who is vetted by a team of curators. Every two weeks, there’s a new “show” or series of artwork presented through the extension. Previous artists featured include an M.I.T. Media Lab graduate, Ayah Bdeir, who showed a series of photographs depicting a woman undergoing a Transportation Security Administration search and a cheeky group show that imagined the future of online advertising. According to Mr. Wilkinson, there are currently more than 25,000 active users of the patch. [...]

Wanted to install add-art-package 0.8.2, but it wasn’t possible, because it is not compatible
with Firefox 3.5.2.
What shall I do? Or is there a version for Firefox 3.5.2?
Thanks

Yes, please make this outstanding plugin compatible with all firefox versions up to 3.7. The early adapters will spread the message of art not ad!

Please change that!

This was such a great idea…so poorly executed.
At first I imagined that the art would be nice to look at. Possibly complementing the screens I’m already looking at. Showing me something classic, or interesting, or meaningful. Instead the so-called “curator” is choosing random stupid photos, disturbing images, sometimes flashing or moving, and even an entire show of FAKE ADS. What is the F***ing point you guys? Your program produces an unwelcome distraction from what I’m trying to do at the time. I keep thinking “Oh no, Ad-Blocker is broken, this can’t possibly be on purpose”. Blech. I’m going back to plain old white.
Kudos to the technical team, it downloads, adds the art, etc. just fine.
